The story as far as we know it of our great grandmother Naomi Shaw
naomi3

Naomi Shaw was born in Thrapston Northants and was a twin - her sister was called Ruth . Both of them were listed together on the BMD index. Her father Frederick was from Croseton Norfolk and ran the Cutlers shop at 18 High Street Wellingborough. Grandparents Louisa 1805 and William 1810 were from Cranwich Norfolk and Mildenhall Suffolk respectively. William was a Cutler and had a shop in St Neots. On the 1861 Census the twins aged 6 were living with their grandparents in St Neots Huntingdonshire When older they obviously went to Wellingborough to live with their parents this is where JGM and Naomi met up
By 1891 William aged 80 had remarried Elizabeth 42 from St Neots and there was a new daughter Florence. The new family were all living in St Neots . William was a 'setter grinder and repairer of cutlery'
When Georg Michael and Naomi first married and son Frederick was born they were living with her parents at 18 High Street Wellingborough.
Naomi died in 1936 aged 81
