Dr James Tempest - Aaron's brother

Dr James Tempest - Aaron's brother
Aaron, William and James Tempest all started their careers as School Teachers.

In 1881 James was an assistant school master at The Manchester Warehousemen and Clerks Orphan School. Louisa Annie Barnes was an assistant school mistress. I found a marriage for Louisa Annie and James in 1887 in Skipton. In 1891 they were still school teachers living next door to a General Practitioner and Surgeon at 760 Stockport Road Newton Manchester
On the 1901 Census James described himself as a Surgeon ! I wonder how/where he trained for this?? Two children Basil 8 and Harold 4.
In 1911 I found them living at 1 Clarendon Road Whalley Range Manchester, James described himself as a Physician and Surgeon, the two boys were still at home and they had
a servant living in.
I have searched the Medical Registers and found he qualified on 30 July 1897 and was Licenced at the Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of Surgeons London

" Basil Tempest born 1892 son of Dr James Tempest a student at Manchester University - 2nd lieut Western Front died of wounds received 25th April 1917 at Salonica"
